A group of people who answered YES to be a voice for the homeless.
Sometimes a YES is all it takes.
It is a heartfelt response that activates change.
Our short term goal is to provide a warm and safe shelter during the winter months.
Our long term goal is to secure a property to build a transitional supportive village with wraparound services where individuals can receive the treatment they need to recover and know that they are safe, loved and be encouraged to move into a future filled with hope.

The Journey of Homelessness
I am the mother of the homeless.
I have walked the path where they have trod.
I have seen the day by day nails that pierce the hearts as they look out to the world.
Recovery programs that promise recovery in two weeks and end when the insurance company says it ends.
Counselors trusted who have to move on to the next client.
Trust broken.
A heart pierced.
Traveling on buses and trains to help that is no longer there.
Hope broken.
A heart pierced.
Their only friend on a cold night is the bottle.
It takes the pain away.
